Professor Anne Kelso, NHMRC CEO, attended the recent meeting of the Australian Council of Deans of Health Sciences. Members were interested to hear the update on recent changes to the grant process within the National Health and Medical Research Council.
Of particular interest were implications and opportunities for researchers within the professions of allied health. The related issue of visibility of allied health research within the ABS FoR codes was also flagged by members as an ongoing area of concern- albeit beyond NHMRC.
