The Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship Scheme is designed to encourage and assist undergraduate students in health-related disciplines to complete their studies and join the health workforce. The scheme provides scholarships for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people studying an entry level health course.
If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student studying an entry level course in any of the following health professions during Semester 1 of 2018, you will be eligible to apply.
- Aboriginal Health Work
- Allied Health (click here for list of professions)
- Dentistry/Oral Health
- Medicine (Includes Graduate Entry Level)
- Midwifery
- Nursing
The scholarship is valued up to $15,000 per year for the normal duration of the course.
